This is the trending topic now, as we all know that earlier Google launched Google Chromebook Pixel in 2015. This Chromebook is of two types one comes with Intel core processor 5th generation (i5) and 2.4GHz Intel Core 7th generation (i7). The main idea of Google was to bring the best hardware, software, and design altogether to inspire the upcoming generation of Chromebooks. Google is now coming up with Google Chromebook pixel 3 which runs on Andromeda OS. Andromeda OS is the combination of “Android + Chrome OS = Andromeda.” As we are familiar with Android OS and Chrome OS. Now Google has decided to merge this both operating systems and coming up with Andromeda OS.
Is Andromeda OS a Rumor?
Most of the people thought this might be a rumor, but after looking at the tweet of “Hiroshi Lockheimer” who is the current SVP Android, Chrome OS & Play at Google. It has solved most of the people’s doubt, so now people are waiting for Oct 4th, 2016 for the launch of this OS. But still, we never know what going to happen on Oct 4th, 2016 let’s wait and see.
Today we are discussing the Andromeda as per the updates we got. Andromeda Project is known internally as ‘Bison’ and by the informal nickname Pixel 3. Google concentrates on accuracy and user-friendly as we observe Android OS. So we can expect this hybrid OS gives user-friendly interface. Initially, this was started as rumors, but now it bonded firmly. Because of the one tweet on Twitter, so everyone is eagerly waiting for the surprise to revile.
We know now Andromeda is the combination of android and chrome. But the name shows that more of this Andromeda is going to be stuffed with Android features. By looking at the Andromeda, we can say this.
If we talk about the configuration of Pixel 3. Bison planned ultra thin laptop and display size would be “12.3 inches”. Whereas Google also wanted that to support Tablet mode. As we can see in our windows 10 OS. So it’s unclear that how actually this is going to be. But we can say that this is going to be the ultra thin laptop. The processor of this may be in m3 or i5 core processor with 32 or 128 GB storage capacity, and RAM may be 8GB or 16GB.
It will additionally feature a fingerprint scanner, 2 USB-C ports, a 3.5mm jack (!), a bunch of sensors, stylus support (a Wacom pen are going to be sold-out separately). Also, stereo speakers, quad microphones, and A battery which will last around ten hours. The keyboards are going to have the backlight. Therefore the glass trackpad can use perception and force detection the same as the MacBook.
